THE SEASON OF UNMASKING

I was reading something today when I stumbled on the story of Adam and Eve and the serpent in the garden of Eden. We are all familiar with the story of creation (Genesis 1-3). When God created all the animals, Adam was left in charge to name them and to have dominion over them. Then Eve was created. So in the garden, there was Adam and Eve, who were the only human, surrounded by animals, trees, rivers etc.

Now as I was reading it, I realised something and I wanted to share it. The reason why the serpent was able to get close to Eve was cause it did not look like a threat to her. What do I mean? Why am I saying that? So the garden was filled with animals, all kind of animals. There was a male and a female cow, a male and a female monkey, a male and a female cockroach, so I believe there was a male and female snake. So when Satan disguised himself as a snake and went to Eve, the first instinct of Eve was not to run away. Why? Because she knew that the garden had snakes in it already. What I am trying to say is sometimes we don’t realise the intentions of the people around us because we are familiar with them. They are people we are close to, people we trust, people we love. If Satan came in a human form, Eve would have thought “hold on a minute, I thought my boo Adam and I were the only human here”. My girl will say “this is a bit sus” (slang). Satan being so crafty, he disguised himself to fit in the garden.

Today’s blog is saying be mindful of the people around you. It is not everyone that’s around you that wants the best for you, or cares for you. Some people are wolves in a sheep’s clothing. They might smile with you, but their heart is displaying something else. They are waiting for you to fall. Be careful! Be careful! Do not let a crafty snake be your downfall. Pray that God should reveal the unfriendly friendly spirits/friends/family around you (people who seem friendly to you but ain’t really your friend). Trust God first and He will reveal to you who to trust. May God bless you and open your eyes to the people that surrounds you.

Prayer: Our gracious God we thank you and we bless your Holy name. We thank you for your grace and mercies. As we a praying today, Lord we ask you to reveal anyone that’s not from you, anyone that wants our downfall in Jesus name. Anyone that has disguise themselves we ask that you unmask them in Jesus name. We pray and we thank you. This we ask in Jesus name, amen.

Since it’s the last day of the eleventh month, let us just declare blessings into the last and final month of the year 2021.

”I pray that the Lord increases you in December. May favour follow you everywhere you go. May you swim in grace. May your cup run over as God baths you in fresh anointing. May joy alone be your portion this month. Any bad news, any sickness, any death, we rebuke it in Jesus name. As Isaiah 7:7 says “It shall not stand”, so will any evil plans of the devil not stand in Jesus name. Anyone planning your downfall, scream IT SHALL NOT STAND because I believe it shall not stand. May the hand of the Almighty be with you and your family. May we enter 2022 with testimonies and more testimonies. May we enter the new year in full health. Financial breakthrough is your portion. May the Heavens open to you in Jesus name. At the end of the month, we will come back and give glory to the Lord. This we ask in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, Amen”
