A CHILDLIKE FAITH

My Pastor was talking about how pure children are and then I started thinking about the children I know. Children are so cute and such a blessing. Have you ever promised a child something? Like you see them and you say, “the next time I see you I’ll bring you sweets”. They automatically get excited and they just believe you. They don’t think “maybe this person is just lying to me or maybe she doesn’t even have money”. They just believe you and expect you to deliver what you have promised.
As Christians and as children of God, the Bible has promised us a lot of things. But guess what? Our childlike mode isn’t activated sometimes. We see it and then we just assume it’s just writings. We don’t jump for joy like children. We don’t believe it. We don’t expect most of them to come true. We just walk past them. Today’s blog is short and simple. We need to activate our childlike faith. We need to have faith. The Bible says “for we walk by faith not by sight“ (2 Corinthians 5:7). It’s not about what you are seeing, it’s just about believing. If the Bible tells you that “Our God shall supply all our needs”, you don’t have to sit there and start thinking “how is that possible?” “All my needs? Seriously?”. You need to speak it and believe it. Speak it with power. Speak it with energy. Speak it with full “VIM”. What can God not do. Let’s be like children. Let’s have faith. Faith to move mountains. The kind of faith that when you have £2.50 in your bank account, you can still afford that £5 meal. Believe.
By faith the Israelites were rescued from Egypt. By faith Hannah gave birth to Samuel, Sarah gave birth to Isaac and Elizabeth gave birth to John. By faith, the walls of Jericho came flat down. When you start having faith, the impossible becomes possible. Start having faith and see miracles start flowing from your life. May God bless you as you build up your faith.
Prayer: Our Heavenly Father we thank you today. We thank you for always being there for us. God we pray that today as we leave the blog you increase our faith in Jesus name. We pray that you let us move in faith. We pray that you activate the childlike faith bottom in us in Jesus name. This we ask in Jesus name, amen.
